In obedience to the great commission by Jesus, we are inspired to reach out to our immediate community and beyond with the love of Jesus Christ who came to save mankind. We believe that everyone deserve to experience the love of God regardless of their colour, race, believe, background, or their past life style.
We believe that you are important to God, and that He has a purpose for your life, to succeed and achieve your good goals, and this is what God is saying concerning you: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
God is inviting you to a journey with Him, where he will make things beautiful for you. All you need do, is simply accept His call and invitation. He says this with a lovely voice to you: "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."Isa 1:18 KJV

The Matthew Project
The Matthew Project is a non-referral food bank service which the church began in June of 2020 as a measure to support our community in Nottingham as we lived through the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This project was kickstarted through the support of the Nottingham City Council as well as through the services of FareShare East Midlands, a food redistribution charity which operates in the Midlands region. From our humble beginnings in June 2020, we have gone on to serve people in the 30s and more on average every Saturday through the efforts of our volunteers and the church.
In addition to the food provision, we give out, we have gone on in stages to also offer clothing and household items through our service. As a project established in our church and on the foundation of the Christian faith, we also engage our service users with the sharing of the Christian gospel, prayers and counseling according to their needs.
Food Bank

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.
Our services are not limited to emergency food provision only, we also signpost people to other relevant agencies for help. Our services are open to everyone from the local community and beyond. More information about how the food bank works can be found here on the Trussell Trust website.
